| Light Rail | Metro Transit is efficient, safe, reliable and inexpensive. The fare is $1.50 ($2 during rush hour). Information will be available in the Hospitality Suite and volunteers will be able to assist you in planning your trip. You can also plan your trip at: www.metrotransit.org
The bus accepts dollar bills and all coins, and the fare is good for 2.5 hours. Transfers to Light Rail are allowed. The Light Rail station nearest the Hilton and Marriott hotels is on Nicollet Mall - 5 blocks from the Hilton and 2 blocks from the Marriott. Trains run every 7 or 8 minutes during peak hours and every 10 to 15 minutes at other times. Tickets are sold at vending machines. The machines accept bills, coins and credit cards. The Hiawatha Line offers fast, quiet light-rail service to 17 stations between downtown Minneapolis, the Lindbergh and Humphrey Terminals of the Minneapolis, St. Paul Airport and the Mall of America. |
